Technologies used in creating my magazine:
other technology used:
SD Card: This was used to store the images from the photo shoot and upload them onto my mac. This was important as it was the key device used to share the images around Eamaze: This is a unique PowerPoint tool which allows you to work with a near unlimited canvas allowing for detailed power points. Flickr: this was used to publish my analysis on a magazine producer as it shows both images and text. It is also easy to locate all my photos in an album using this site. YouTube: I also used YouTube to produce video content as it is easy to embed and works well as it is the main website used to present videos in the modern era
Audience for magazine: In the photo below, I aimed to draw a realistic image to what the average male auidence of my magazine would look like. The look is one of the 'street smart teen' who want to be up to date with the lastest products and enjoy music and fashion but are also self aware and aim to look unique and trendy in subtle ways. The audience would likely read magazines like XXL and Fader magazine and listen to a lot of underground and upcoming hip-hop artists.
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why?

How does your media product represent particular social media groups?
Above is a gif I created to show the similarities in my magazine and a professional one.
Expression: Both artists shown above have a similar expression with an intimidating and confident look with both looking straight at the audience. This appeals to my target audience as they likely want to listen to the hardest and most confident rappers in the industry and they have to look unique and powerful on their own.
Posture: Both models are posed with their hands in the pockets of their clothing and are slightly hunched over. This is to show they are semi serious but not too posy and helps identify the target audiences needs for strong and powerful looking people within the hip-hop industry who can stand on their own two feet as an independent artist.
Shot type: Both models are presented in a mid shot to show there fashion and facial expressions within the same shot. I chose to use a midshot as it allows the target audience to look at the artist in close detail and shows pride as the person is confident with being on the front cover for all to see whilst some may only show the face or back of the model.
Outfits: Both models are dressed in a similar way. This fits the clothing a lot of hip-hop artists wear with the casual but thought out fashion look being the industry standard for hip-hop artists as they look like they know what is in trend but still makes them look strong and confident.
The gif above shows the type of clothing, shots, posture and expressions common for a hip-hop artist and is the goal I set out for my magazine to look like.
